Common Questions

Quick answers to what most customers ask.

All builds are in stock and ship within 1–2 business days of your order. You'll receive a tracking email as soon as your PC leaves our facility. Delivery takes 2–3 business days within the US via FedEx or UPS Ground.

Your MilanPC is covered by a 6-month parts and labor warranty from the date of purchase. This covers:

  • Hardware defects and component failures under normal use
  • Build-related issues (loose connections, cable management, etc.)
  • Dead-on-arrival components

The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or issues from unauthorized modifications. To file a claim, submit a ticket below.

Try these steps before submitting a ticket:

  1. Confirm the power cable is fully seated in the back of the PC and plugged in at the wall.
  2. Check that your power strip or surge protector is switched on.
  3. Hold the power button for 5 seconds - some systems need a longer press on first boot.
  4. Check the PSU rocker switch on the back of the PC - it should be set to I (On).
  5. Try a different power outlet or cable if available.

If none of these work, submit a support ticket and we'll troubleshoot with you directly.

For NVIDIA GPUs: Open GeForce Experience → click the Drivers tab → click Check for Updates. You can also download directly from nvidia.com/drivers.

For AMD GPUs: Open AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition → click the gear icon → Check for Updates. Also available at amd.com/support.

We recommend keeping drivers updated for the best gaming performance and stability.

Some heat is normal under heavy loads. Safe operating ranges:

  • CPU: Under 85°C at full load is normal. Our AIO cooling should keep most CPUs under 75°C in typical use.
  • GPU: 70–85°C under gaming load is typical and safe for all RTX/RX cards.

If temperatures are consistently above 90°C or you're seeing throttling, submit a ticket - it may be an AIO seating issue or a fan that's not spinning correctly.

Yes - all MilanPCs use standard ATX components and full-size cases. RAM, storage, GPU, and CPU are all user-upgradeable with no proprietary restrictions. Check your motherboard manual for compatibility before purchasing upgrade parts. Submit a ticket if you want advice on what to upgrade to.

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for units in original, undamaged condition. Submit a ticket with your order number and reason, and we'll send a prepaid return label. Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days of receiving the returned unit.

DOA (dead-on-arrival) units are prioritized - reach out immediately and we'll expedite a replacement or refund.

PC Quick Start Guide

From unboxing to gaming - follow these steps in order.

Your MilanPC ships double-boxed with foam padding on all sides.

  1. Place the outer box on a flat surface and open from the top.
  2. Lift the PC straight up by the case handles or sides - never by cables or protruding parts.
  3. Remove any foam inserts placed inside the case for shipping (check the GPU brace area and AIO radiator).
  4. Check the included accessory bag for spare screws, cable ties, and your warranty card.
  5. Inspect the exterior for shipping damage. If you see dents or cracks, photograph them and submit a ticket before powering on.
  1. Display: Connect your monitor to the GPU output ports on the rear of the PC - not the motherboard ports. Use DisplayPort for the best refresh rate performance; HDMI also works.
  2. Power: Connect the power cable to the back of the PC and plug into a surge-protected outlet. Flip the PSU switch to I (On).
  3. Keyboard & Mouse: Plug into any USB port. For competitive gaming, use a USB 3.0 port (blue) for the lowest latency.
  4. Audio: Connect headphones or speakers to the front panel 3.5mm jack or the rear I/O.
  5. Network: Ethernet is strongly recommended for gaming. For Wi-Fi, attach the antennas to the gold connectors on the rear I/O.

Your MilanPC ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed and activated.

  1. Press the power button - the system will POST and boot directly into Windows setup.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts: select your language, region, and connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  3. Sign in with or create a Microsoft account (recommended for cloud backup and driver sync).
  4. Allow Windows Update to complete - this may take 10–20 minutes and may restart the PC once.
  5. Verify activation at Settings → System → Activation. It should show Windows is activated.

All critical drivers are pre-installed before shipping. We also recommend installing:

  • GeForce Experience (NVIDIA builds) or AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition (AMD builds) - for GPU updates and game optimization
  • iCUE (Corsair components) - for fan curves and RGB control
  • MSI Afterburner - for GPU monitoring and optional overclocking
  • HWiNFO64 - detailed hardware monitoring and temperature readouts

Chipset, audio, and LAN drivers are already installed. You do not need to reinstall them.

Get the most out of your build:

  • Power Plan: Go to Control Panel → Power Options → select High Performance or Ultimate Performance for maximum frame rates.
  • Game Mode: Enable at Settings → Gaming → Game Mode for more consistent frame times.
  • NVIDIA Reflex / AMD Anti-Lag: Enable in supported games for reduced input latency in competitive titles.
  • XMP / EXPO: Your RAM is already set to its rated XMP/EXPO speed in the BIOS - no action needed. Verify in Task Manager under Performance → Memory.
  • Storage: Keep your SSD below 80% capacity for consistent performance. Add a secondary drive for game libraries if needed.

RGB Control Guide

Customize, sync, and control your build's lighting.

The RGB software depends on the components in your specific build:

  • Corsair components (fans, RAM, AIO): Use iCUE - download at corsair.com/icue
  • ASUS components / motherboard: Use Armoury Crate (includes Aura Sync)
  • MSI components / motherboard: Use MSI Center
  • NZXT components / AIO: Use NZXT CAM

Unsure what's in your build? Check your order confirmation email for the full spec sheet, or submit a ticket and we'll tell you exactly which software to use.

In iCUE (Corsair):

  1. Open iCUE and select a device (e.g., your AIO pump head, RAM, or fans).
  2. Click Lighting Effects in the left sidebar.
  3. Click + to add a new effect.
  4. Choose an effect type: Rainbow Wave, Color Pulse, Static, etc.
  5. Use the color wheel to select your color.
  6. To control multiple devices at once, use Lighting Link from the device list.

In Armoury Crate (ASUS):

  1. Open Armoury Crate → navigate to Aura Sync.
  2. Select all devices and click Sync All.
  3. Choose an effect and color from the options panel.

Most MilanPC builds use components from a single brand ecosystem, making syncing straightforward:

  • iCUE: Use Lighting Link to group all Corsair devices and apply one effect simultaneously.
  • Armoury Crate: Toggle Aura Sync on - this synchronizes all ASUS-compatible devices automatically.

If your build mixes brands, use OpenRGB (free, open-source) which supports nearly all RGB hardware from one interface regardless of brand. Download at openrgb.org.

In iCUE: Select each device → Lighting Effects → set to Static with color black (0, 0, 0). This turns off all lighting without uninstalling software.

In Armoury Crate: Go to Aura Sync and select the Off lighting mode from the effect list.

Both apps also have a global lighting toggle in their settings menus if you want a quick on/off without changing your saved profiles.

If a device isn't appearing in your RGB software, try these steps:

  1. Update the RGB software - older versions may not recognize newer hardware.
  2. Fully restart the software by right-clicking the tray icon and selecting Exit, then reopen it.
  3. Unplug and re-plug any USB RGB controllers or dongles.
  4. Verify that ARGB headers inside the case are fully seated on the motherboard.
  5. Try running the software as Administrator.
